I Aftor the rain showers of Sunday and later it was not anticipated . that the greens would bo very fit for play yesterday, but tlio sun came out bright and strong in the morning, and though the greens were distinctly on tha henry side, aiul the bowls showed a tendency to "pick up the mud," a. start was got at 9.30 a.m., and tho weather holding out fine, play continued merrily throughout the day.
