A PATHETIC LETTER, (By Telegraph,—Press Association.) Auckland, March 2J. Tho body of.ia young man, supposed' to bo Georgo Maddox, was found lying dead, on a .vacant section to-day. A bullet wound in tho man's forehead and a revolver at his sido pointed to his having committed suicide. ,In deceased's pocket i.as found a letter, presumably addressed to his mother. The letter indicated the v riter was Georgo Maddox, and said ho was not much longer for this world. The writer stated that ho had a lot of. trouble,, and' that ho had devised plans; to end it. Tho letter pathetically ended: "If. my plan fails/ I would like to see home again. It's a true saying, 'There's no place like home.'" . .
