houses unroofed and craft . SUNK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, March 23. _ The Tofua, which arrived frbm Fill yesterday, brought only a few particulars of tho hurricane beyond what was contained in the recent cablegram. Tlio roofs of niany of tho houses in Suva wero lifted completely off, ond 6omo buildings .on the wharf were blown away. After tho storm the streets were strewn with corrugated iron and other materials., l'our banana schooners which were lying m tho harbour eanlc, and another was driven ashore, but no lives wero lost.
