PATHETIC SCENES,

When an alleged robbery of .£50,000 worth of property from a New York pawnshop became known, a crowd iof five thousand mobbed tho building, hoping to secure a return of their valuables. The police wero called, and quelled the disorder. There were pathetic 6cenes, the ticket-holders being mostly poor people.
