SPIRITUALISTS' CONFERENCE.

The seventh annual oonferenoo of New Zealand Spiritualists opoiied at tho Now Century Hall at 10.30 a.m. yesterday. There vrero over- 50 . representative Spiritualists present, and representatives from England, Scotland, Auckland, Nelson, Wailii, New Plymouth, Levin, Stratford, Christehurch, and other parte ol' tho Dominion. Tho conference was opened by a hymn and prayer. The president of tho Wellington Society (Mr. William, M'Jjean) welcomed tho delegates to Wel- : lington, and urged tho'conforenco to set themselves earnestly to tho work of the upliftmont ,of thomovement generally. Tho president of tho National Association (Mr.„W. G., Nation, of Levin) then addressed tho conference, and submitted his annual report,' which, after discussion, was adopted: and ordered . to bo printed. Tho lion, secretary's report nntl balancesheet were read and adopted. Reports from the Auckland, Wailii, New Plymouth, Levin, Christchurch, and Wellington Sociotics wore submitted ami discussed at considerable length, ■ . The following officers wero elected for tho ensuing year:—President, Mr. W. C. Nation; viee-presiden ts, Messrs. P. A. Moody (Cliristchurch Society), ■ W. M'Lean (Wellington Society) ;■ secretary j Mr. (re-elected) ; • treasurer,' Mr. T. M'Nicholl (re-elected); badg«-keop6i% Miss M'Lean; trustees, Messrs.
