A BUSY EASTER.
HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS FOR
ALL. The Easter'holidays now within touch will probably be the liveliest on record in Wellington, and, given line weather, the public will not have the slightest grounds to complain of any lack of attractions. The outstanding feature will be the big Citizens' Carnival, which really commenced with, the surf gala at Lyall Bay on Saturday last. This is to take place .•it' Newtown Park 011 Saturday and Easter Monday, when there will oe all manner of sport's for young and old, massed drill by the school children, hockey and foot- • ball displays, side-shows of all kinds, refreshment kiosks, brass bands, a baby show, and other amusements too numerous to particularise. In the evenings there are to be electric light sports, and fireworks displays. I>i order to give the public an idea of *)vhat is to take place, the following summary has been prepared:—
