LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgety and Go.. Ltd.. Wellington, report having held their Otaki sale on Monday. They hud a fair entry of sheep, and were successful in disposing of most lines. Cattle came forward up to advertised numbers, and the. competition was very keen for all classes of young stock. The following are some of tho prices realised:—Four and five-year ewes; to Bs. 6d.; two and four-tooth ewes, to lis. 6d.; f.m. owe*. 7s. to 7s. 6(1.; lambs, 43. 'to 9s. 3d.; rams, 3s. to 45.; cows, in calf, £6 to £6 55.; cows in milk, to £5 ICe.; fat cows, £4 12s. 6d., £5 2s. 6d„ £5 £e., £5 7s. 6d.; two and a half-year steers, to £5 45.; eighteenmonths steers, to £3 45.; wenners, £1 Cs., £1 10?., to £2; suckers, &s. 6d. to 95.; porkers, to 235. 6d.
