Mr. Heinrich .Hemmer's lecture takes place to-night .at 8 p.m. at the Opera under the patronage of Sir Robert Stout, tho Mayor, Mr. Justice Chapman, and Sir John I'indlay. Mr. Hemmcr will - ■ give the Gjrman. version about the tendencies and ambitions of modem Germany,: the ideals, generally with the people .-.of Germany, and the question of national expansion.
