SPEECH AT TEMUKAj ;Vv _ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) - " Timaru, March 17. The Prime Minister (the Hon. TV. P. Massey) visited Geraldine to-day, and veceived a cordial welcome from'the Mayor (Mr. Kennedy) and Mr. Dcnnistonii (chairman of the county). He received a number of deputations with requests for financial assignee for local'and district objects. The borough has a reserve close by, including G7 acres of "native bush, and asked for help in keeping down noxious weeds,; or 'as an nlteiraativo that tho Govmiinent, should take it -n-<'r ns a soenio reserve. Assistance was promised. The premier had a cordial receotion at Tcmuka "this evening, tho Dominion Theatre .being, crowded. Ho said lie heard that tho aggregation of estates was going on in this district.
