NEW EDUCATION BILL.
BRITISH PROPOSALS. ; By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright • London, March 16. Speaking at- Sheffield, the Right Hon. J. A. Pease, President of the Board of Education, said he was introducing in a , few; weeks education proposals providing for a national system, graded from the cradle to the university. He did not propose to centralise, and accepted the existing principle of making local authorities mainly .responsible for education, but their powers would be extended. He added that the Bill would not attempt to solve what fie considered was an "unsolvable religious difficulty." V
