ANNUAL REPORT. Tlio annual report of the Wellington Sunday School Union states that 10 schools show a gain of 33G scholars, while 12 schools show a, loss of 280—a ndfc fjain of ■17 scholars; Thirteen schools outside the. city show a gain of 2GO scholars, while 12 schools show a 10-s of 197, leaving a net gain of 03. Total, JJ2I ss. 2d. CONVENTION OF TEACHERS. A convention of Sunday School teachers is to be held in Wellington at Easter, uiukr the auspices of the Wellington Sunday School Union. It will commence at 2.30 p.m. 011 Good Friday with a short devotional service, to be followed at 3
p.m. by tile address of the president (Mr. W. Allan). There will bo a tea at 5.K0 p.m., and at 7.30 p.m. a welcome will be extended to delegates, after which the JJmV' 9/' w i" deliver an address on The Sunda} - School Teachers' Chief Concern.'" The conference will be resumed at-10.30 a.m. on Saturday, and that afternoon a warden party will be held in .the Prime Minister's residence in Tinakori Road. On Easter Sunday a United Communion Service will be conducted in St. John's Church by the Rev. Dr. Gibb, and the conference will sit again on Monday morning and afternoon. All conference meetings, will be held in the Vivian Street Baptist Schoolroom.
