When the last picnic was arranged for th» Arawa crew by Mr.; Moore, -missiorier to seamen, on their arrival from England, a wish was .expressed that the workers; might, erlt-artain them prior to■ their, departure for Home. This was most readily carried out on Saturday last, when a party of between •sixty ; and .seventy melt at the Kelburne Kiosk, where games, music, and story filled up a ■ most ■ delightful time. Items were . contributed by. Mesdames. Mueller ("Perfect Day" and "The Crown"), and Miss ("Hold Thou my Hand"). Miss M'lntyre presided at the piano. Mr. Crawley (R.M.S. Arawa) delighted the audience with his quaint recitations. ' The prizes donated by Ithe passengers were presented by Mrs. Shaw. •A vote of thanks to all who made the orent so successful was moved by Air. Batlty (R.M.S. Arawa), and was carried with cheers. Th6,-following were the prize winners:—Messrs; -Blockson, Marshall, Mulholland, Shott. Keys, Collings, Fairer, Outram, Ballard, Woods, Williams Oborn, Haywood, Kade, Wraight, and Crawley.
