A-TRAMWAY MATTER.
Sir,—Allow me to draw attention to what might bo termed "funny business" 011 the of somebody controlling the tramways. A newspaper advertisement announces special concession to patrons of the Skating Eink at- Ivilbirnie. Tlieso special concession tickets ore available between 7 and 10 p.m. on and after Monday next. Now, sir, here are wo Kilbirnie residents using the trams many times a day, and some have done so for years, and we cannot receive the consideration duo to us. Surely the casual visitors tostlie, rink can easily pay the full fare, and if any. concessions are to bo made then let the Ivilbirnie residents receive date consideration. .What with "strap-hanginft" and "packing" we seem to bo paying dearly for the rides that we are obliged to endure— I am, etc.-, "NOMAD."
