MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL.
A speoial meeting of the Miramar Borough Council was 'held yesterday. There were present: Councillors N. W. Bell (pre'siding), C. B. Bowie, S. Stone, A. Grigg, and JI. A. Smith.
Councillor N. ,W. Bell was elected deputy-Mayor for .tho purposo of signing debentures of the power supply loan, during the absence of the Mayor (Mr. H. N. MacLeod). . • . ■ Subsequently a nietting was held to pass the usual statutory resolution. approving the roll as submitted. A revising committee was set up, consisting of Councillors Grigg, Sto&e, and Bowie.
