Professor Friedmann, tho discoverer of the new method of treating tuberculosis, in demonstrating before the Canadian As-' sociation for the Prevention of Tubercu-. losis, asserted that he had lives, . of threo hundred children who had lieen suffering from tuberculosis in one form or another. Tho turtle bacillus was absolutely harmless when injected into tho human system,- and tho method of treatment was similar to vaccination. The Dulte of Connaught, Governor-Gen-cral of Canada, referred to Professor Friedmann's discovery as one of tho greatest importance.
