SUMMARY AND FORECAST. '"Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere,. and very low pressure may be expected in the south in about 36 hours.. Squally northerly . winds, increasing in the meantime, with more cloudings and considerable rain following, especially on the West .Coast. A westerly disturbance appears to .be now developing on the Tasman Sea. Bdin has fallen in most parts of the oountry, but the' weather lias cleared up to-day in the north. , Fpstgy weather is still reported 'from Stephen Island; and on the East Coast of the South Island, arid moderate to strong northerly winds prevail.
