' Wanganui, March 12.—Thick and over, cast: heavy showers; muggy, trying weather. > Hastings, March 12—This morning a heavy drizzle fell, and oleared off about iO o'clock. In the evening more rain fell. The temperature is very mild. Mastert-on. March 12.—Heavy rain continued to fall throughout to-day.
