Tho chartered steamer Cape Finisterre, recently at Wellington with Now York caseoil for tho Vacuum Oil Company, left Port Chalmers for Nowoastlo at 7 a.m. yesterday. ' The cargo-carrier Kaiapoi left Westport for Sydney at noon yesterday. Duo in port from Port Chalmers this evening, tho Tyser liner Star of Ireland will continue Homo loading here. She sails on Saturday for Wanganui. From the latter port the Star ol Ireland proceeds to Gisborne and Napier, returning to Wellington in time to leave this port finally for London on- March 29. The Government steamer Hinemoa, left Manukau Heads for Wellington at 11 a.m. yesterday. She is due in port this evening. Having completed discharge of tlig Wellington portion of their oversea cargoes, the New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered steamer Tokomaru, and their mail steamer Euahine, left Wellington for Lyttelton last evening. 1 It is expected, that tho Shaw-Savill steamer Jlatatua will clear Wellington for London at 6 a.m. to-morrow. The F. and S. Lino's steamer Essex ia expected to leavo Auckland, in continuation of her journey from Liverpool to Wellington, cither on Friday or Saturday of this week. It is expected that the Wc6tport Harbour Hoard's suction dredge Eileen Ward will come off the Wellington Patent Slip this afternoon. At. noon to-morrow the Arahura leaves Wellington on a spccial trip to Picton, returning to this port at 5.30 p.m. The Union Company's coastal steamer Haupiri is expected to get away from Wellington for Onehunga, via usual way ports, to-morrow. The turret steamer Koromiko is scheduled to leave Wellington for Newcastlo to-mor-row. She loads at tlio New South Wales port for Auckland. No doubt the exceptionally rough weather which has been experienced on the New South Wales coast -has delayed the Union Company's collicr Wairuna, Tho vessel is en route from Newcastle to Wellington, and is not oxnected to make port until Friday or Saturday. Tile Union Company's new 13,500-ton liner Niagara, wos expected to leavo the Clydo to-day for Plymouth. She leaves the lnttcr port an Friday, and is due at Melbourne on April 20.
