ANGLICAN MISSION SERVICE.
At the Concert Chamber (Town Hall) yesterday, tbo Bev. H. Watson, vicar ol Masterton, continued his midday mission addresses. As on Monday, he took tho parable of the Good* Samaritan as his subject, and extending his referenco said that it was one which could well he applied to business life. It embodied the .golden rule, and embraced all the virtues of charity, neighbourliness, and loving kindness one towards another. Tho contrast between the Samaritan and the sinner was one that must be eminently applicable to the afFairs of everyday life. The best life was the old simple, straightgoing religious life of unswerving rectitude and integrity. The other way was sin and ruin. ! The midday mission wvicps for women were continued in the Lodge TJonin, Lambton Quay, yesterday, and will he continued till Friday. To-ciay I lie Bi?iiop of Wellington will address the 12.20 p.m. meeting.
