At a meeting of the Mostcrton Borough /Council last night it was decided to accede to the request contained in n petition tlint was presented, and to take a poll on'the question of adopting Saturday as the lialfliolidiiy, N Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co., No. 26 Brandon Street, have received instructions to sell by public auction n number of vans, carts, and harness, elc. The snlo will take place ul' Mr. Lyons's old stables, Abel Smith Street, on Snturdny, March 15, nt 2 p.m. » Messrs. Dalgety and Co. hove received instructions from Mr. A. H. lircntnall, Martinborough, to sell by public auction 15 draught horses, 2 drays, and 2 wagons, also harness, tarpaulins, . sundries, etc. The. sale will bo held in Mr. BienlnallV stable on Tuesday, March 18 and will ecmmenco at 1 p.m.
