CITY MILK SUPPLY.
WHOLESALE PRICE INCREASED. Dating from the beginning '1 10 P re " sent month the prioe of milk as between the producer and wholesale dealers has been,raised 3d. nor gallon. From inquiries, made yesterday it appears-that the increase has not in very many wises at all events, been passed on to the consumer. It, is'known, however, that the increase'-'has. been passed oil in cases where people have been getting a special reduction. Opinion appears to be divided on. tho .question of whether there will be another rise during the forthcoming winter, but if the price to the 'wholcsalo dealers is increased further in May, June, and .Tilly, it will certainly mean an allfound increase to tho public.
