(Specially written for Thb Douikion.) TUESDAY. Semolina- Soup. Roast Leg of Mutton. Red Currant Jelly. Cabbage. Potatoes. Dato Pudding. Sweet Sauce. DATE PUDDING. Ten ounces flour, 1 teaspoonful baking powder, 1 egg, 1 gill milk, Boz. dates, soz. suet, soz. brown sugar, grated nutmeg, pinch salt. Sift flour, baking powder and salt, mince the suet tine'and rub in well, add sugar, stoned and chopped dates, and grated nutmeg, beat egg and milk together, pour into dry ingredients and make a dough, put on a floured cloth and tie securely, leaving room to swell; plunge into boiling water and boil 2 hours, well covered.
