SUFFRAGETTE IMPRISONED. London, March 8. The Suffragette, Joyce Locko, associated with Lilian Lenten in tho Kew Gardens outrage, has been. sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment and ordered to pay costs, with two sureties of ,£IOO guaranteeing her good behaviour for two years. Parliament has been prorogued. A private Bill will be introduced next session embodying the principle of the Dickenson suffrage amendment. Mr. W. H. Dickenson's amendment to „ tho Franchise Bill proposed to give tho ; vote to women over 25, who are occupiers, or wives of occupiers, thus enfranchising six million people.'
