l__9 - CHAEGE AGAINST A FRENCH GENERAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrlnht. Paris, March 8. The newspaper "Humanite" alleges that during tho operations in Morocco General Franchet Despery ordered a surgeonmajor to finish attending to tho wounded because they retarded his progress.

The surgeon refused. General Despery then abandoned the wounded to the oaro of ten Alpine Chasseurs, all of whom wore murdered by tho Moors. General Lyautey imprisoned Despery for thirty days. Tho latter has been summoned to Paris to explain. STORY OFFICIALLY DENIED. (Rec. March 9, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, March 8. The Minister for War denie3 tho story of the abandonment of the wounded in Morocco.
