LONDON ELECTIONS.
* REFORMERS successful. By Teleeraph—Press Association--Oopyrlsrht (Ric. March 8, 0.10 a.m.) London, March 7. Tho Progressives made a vigorous effort to oust the Reformers, alleging that tho tramways were endangered and that the had not fulfilled their promises of economy. There were eleven women enndidates, and one was elected. The Reformers gained nine and the Progressives two scats, making the Reformers sixty-seven and the Progressives fifty-one. . Mr. Cyril Jackson was defeated for Limebouse. He expected to l>e elected an alderman.
