AMENDMENT ACCEPTED. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Copyright London, March 6. The House of Commons, at Mr. Asquith's instance, has accepted the H<4use of Lords' amendment striking out the limitation clause in the Railways Bill.

[The clause subjecting the measure to the necessity of annual renewal after five years, was deleted, on. the ground that the Government was breaking a pledge given to tho railways. The Government urged that tho House of Lords' action endangered tho Bill.]
