New York, March 5. Tho State of Connecticut has offered Dr. Friedmann .£200,000 if his cure for consumption is effective. A New York banker has offered another ,£200,000 if Dr. Friedmann is able to save tho life of his son-in-law, who is a consumptive. Sydney, March 6. Tho State Government sought to obtain a' trial .sample of Dr. Friednmiin's new consumption cure. Dr. Friedmaun has replied that it is not.for sale. Patients are only treated under his porsonal direction at his Berlin institute. [On November 0 last, Dr. Friedmann, speaking before the Medical Society in Berlin, announced the discovery of a euro for all forms of tuberculosis. The remedy consists of a subcutaneous intravenous injection of a non-virulent tuberculosis bacillus. The remedy also procures immunity from the disease.
