TO-DAY'S DINNER
(Specially written for The Dominion.) THURSDAY. Mutton broth. -.Mutton cutlets. Tomato sauce. Green peas. Potatoes. Baiiburv puffs. BANDITRY PUFFS. Ono ounce butter, Joz. flour, 1 tablespoonful brandy, <1 ozs. currants, loz. mixed peel, pinches of allspice and cinnamon, 1 yolk of ogg, 2ozs. moist sugar, flaky pastry. Melt the butter in a stewpan; add the Hour and brandy, and cook uhtil thick. Cool slightly and stir in all the other ingredients. Roll the , pastry thin, and spread the mixture over half of it. Brush the rest of the pastry with whito of egg, and fold it over. Brush over with white of egg, and dust with sugar. Mark the pastry in sections, and lay on a wet tin. Bake in a hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until well risen, crisp, and btwn. FOB TO-MORROW. Lobster. Fish stock. Schnapper. Forcemeat. Blackberries. Apples. Suet. Defiance Butter Is. per lb.
