Boys'walking race—Mahoney, 1; Davis;

Bean competition—Mrs. H. Ballingor. Tho "Empire" Cup for the highest aggregate was won by A. Grondin. Mr. Thomas Bollinger, in welcoming the employees and their friends, stated that it gave him groat pleasure to meet them at a social gathering of this kind. He trusted that they would havo many such functions.
