The Johnsonville Bowling Club's champion. singles wore concluded last Saturday, when Manson and Turner played off. An even game resulted, the upshot being a win for Turner, tho score reading 16—15. Tho champion rink event was also decided, when Sloan (skip) and Cook (skill) finished an adjourned game. This resulted in a win for Cook by one point. Seeing that Cook and part of his team are not able to play at the champion rink tournament iil Wellington, a special meeting of champion rink players lias l»en called for Thursday, to choose substitutes. The final for the president's cup between Klinndal'ah and Johnsonville will be played next Saturday oil the Jolmsonvillo green, each club being one game up. The following will represent Johnsonville:—Ferguson, Green, Robertson, Thompson (s.); Mills, Jerusalem, Petre, Wallis (s.); Rod, Cane, Tin ner, Manson (s.): Smyllie. The finals in tho Pennant games will be plnyed next Saturday on the Wellington green. Tho only clubs remaining in tho finals are tho Victoria Club ami Petone.
