The straw, too, is also most productive, and quito a big tonnage has already been pressed and railed away, the market price being i£2 a ton. To those living near the railway station tho marketing gives a clear profit of ,£1 a ton, lis. !>eing allowed for pressing and baling, and 6s. for cartage. . 1
