A YEAH, AGO WAS THREATENED WITH BALDNESS. TELLS HOW ' SHE MADE HER HAIR GROW. A lady, now visiting friends in Wellington, is tho fortunate possessor of marvellously beautiful hair, which, when loosened from its coils, falls to her knees. Moreover, it is of soft, silky and fluffy texturo, And in colour a glorious glossy gold. Yet just ono year ago she was threatened with baldness. Urged to tell how she had' obtained this wonderful growth in so short a time, sho said: "Had anyone told me such marvellous results could bo accomplished so quickly, I positively would not have believed it. Twelve months ago my hair, which then reached bar,ely to my shoulders, was falling out at an alarming rate, and growing very thin, actually exposing the bald scalp in several spots. It was dull and lifeless in colour/turning grey in patches, and very dry and brittle. My head was oovered with dandruff, and itched 1 like mad all the time. I tried fully a dozen different hair tonios, but they were all the same, and never did me a bit of pood. , One day I chanced to read in my home paper of a simplo homo prescription to make the hair grow that was recommended by a well-known 'physician. It said that by taking ordinary Lavona de Composoo and. mixing with Bay Rum and Menthol Crystals and applying to tho scalp each night with tho finger tips that new hair would grow very rapidly. I decided to try it, and I had my chemist mix threo ounces of Bay Rum, one ounce of Lavona de Composee (Smith's), and dram Monthol Crystals, and started to use it. My, how quickly my hair did grow. First the hair stopped falling, tho itching ceased, and tho dandruff disappeared. Then tiny little ha.irs appeared all over my scalp. These grew and grew as though nothing would ever stop them.. They are growing still, and while, of course, I have used the treatment steadily, and expect to continue it at least until my hair roaches tho floor, I might have stopped and been perfectly satisfied at the end of three months. I think that anv woman can get long, thick, beautiful hair by-using this prescription as I havo recommended it to several friends, and nil a™ delighted with tho result. Tho prescription is very inexpensive, and any chemist can prepare, it but those who use it should bo careful not to get it on tho face or where hair is not desired.—Advt. Brooklyn, Wellington, ' 18th Deoember, 1912. Dear Mrs. Hullen,- ' For years I was tortured with superfluous hair .on my face, and feared • I 6 hould never rid myself of the distressing disfigurement. Boing extremely sensitive I suffered considerably, being often reminded of tho fact, which, I realised only too well. I t«e<l several so-called euros, also spent a great deal of money on electrolysis, but all to no purpose. In fact, I got worse. Then I heard of "Rusma," and, as a last resource, decided to give it a trial, though having little faith of ever beimj cured. Imagino my Burpriso and delight on discovering that, with each treatment; tho hair grew finer, until finally I was cured.
