It is alleged that Walter Seily, formerly in livery business and latterly a quarryman, quarrelled with his wife, and threatened to murder the whole family. No loaded a double-barrelled gun, but Kate, his daughter, aged fifteen, dashed to secure tho weapon, which exploded during the struggle, one barrel smashing the father's skull.
