FLYING WOMEN.
The sportswoman is always on the search for , hew fields to conquer, and the rapid development of the aeroplane has given her a splendid chaiica which she has not been slow, to take. .In France (gays'a writer in "The Queen") there is a woman's aero club with a membership nearing olio hundred, and having the appropriate liamo Stella Aero Club'. The president of tho club is Mme. Surcouf, who has'won soveral prizes for endurance. On one occasion this intrepid lady made a night voyage, remaining eighteen-hours in the air. Mme. It hints at tho difficulty of finding one's bearings when above tho earth, winchi assumes such a appearance from tho bird's-eye poiirf of view. It seems that Miss Quimby had some premonition of her fate, as she left a sealed messago for her parents before going to Boston to make her last flight. A FEMININE HANDICAP. TOO MUCH nAIR.
