In'a book, "Tho Romance of tho Rothschilds," by Ignatiui Bulla, recently published, ono is related of Baron James Rothschild, 'who looked after tho intorests of tho firm in Paris. Delacroix's studio, with tlio interest and compound interest on it—a sura of 10,000 francs. You can cash tlio cheque at my bank in tho Rue Lnfitto whenever you like.—Baron James Rothschild."
