Dalgety and Company, Limited, agents for the White Star Line, have received advice that the new liner Ceramic, 18,000 tons, will sail from Liverpool for Australia about July 24, arriving in Sydney oil September 10. ' Tho Ceramic: will be by far the largest vessel that has ever corner to Australia, and sho will bo fitted with nil tho latest improvements in shipbuilding. No pamtf have been spared to make this great liner comforl-ablo for travellers, and • every means has been taken to provide her with latest safety appliances.

She will leave Lyttelton for Wellington on arrival of the second express from the south on that date. On Thursday, March j SO, the Mararoa will run an excursion from Wellington to Picton and back. Arahura, s.s., leaver Wellington for Nelson on Thursday evening, March 20. She returns to this port, via Picton, on Good Friday.
