LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Limited, report having held their usual sale at Si TOy .' when they offered a yarding of 4000 sheep of all classes. Tho sale all through was very satisfactory, and at the end of tho day. only two small-pens ol lambs wero turned out unsold. A largo number of huycrs were in attendance, and Induing for all linos of good; young ewes una wethers wa-a keen, anil prices recorded wore weU up to the late market rates. Lambs were rather dull at sale, and prices lor tlus class of stock were rather in favour of buyers. Our special entry, on account of Messrs. llarton Bros., and ilead ami Karris, oainc forward in good order, and a total clearance was made of both lr,ies. Good' priccs as given hereunder were realised for tho entry, and. all other lots submitted met with satisfactory competition. Considering the condition of the fat stock market at the present time,, to-day's sale was a good one, but few lines were disposed of at "snip" rates.
