Chesterton,. editor, '.of -the "New 'Witness/', lias been summoned at Bow Street Police Court for •libelling Mr, Godfrey Isaacs, whom* he' accused of corruptly conspiring in regard to the Marconi' wireless' contract with the • Attorney-Gen-eral (Sir Kufiis Isaacs) and the Postmas-ter-General (Mr. Herbert Samuel). The three were described as malefactors. [Mr. Godfrey Isnacs is the president bf the Marconi' wireless "Telegraphy: Company,' and is a brother of 'the AttorneyGeneral, Sir R-ufus Isaacs), -The latter deniedin Parliament that he had' aiiy . knowledgo that nn agreement was conteniplatod, until he was told of it by 'his brother; "I have never been consulted about this'contract, aiid I have hsld no more to do witli;it than- any- mfemter! Opposite/; ..He.declared that : there was not a; vestige -of foundation for. tho charges that., had been made.'
