The Petone Tramway. Syndicate liave "turned doivn" tlio negotiations with the local florough Council in regard to the question of installing trains, and the syndicate are now considering tlio question of installing a motor-bus service. Tho service will be controlled by the 'Tetono Tramway Company, Ltd." Mr. X., Roche, borough engineer at lower Hutt, is at. present in Christ--1 church on council business.
