■ SEISMIC "UI'IIKAVE." (By Telegraph.—Prem Association.) Auckland, February 2!t. Whilo the slenmer' Katoa, from West, port to Auckland, was off Westport at 12.38 o'clock on Saturday, she 'was lifted by a submarine'disturbance and shaken from stem to stern. The sensation was as though tho steamer ,hnd been raised from under, and was scraping her way over a derelict. Tho shocK lasted four seconds, but had 110 appreoiablo effect on the fii; Captain Norton is'of opinion that the centre of the seismic disturbance was out to sea.
