HKCORD LIVE'.STOCK-ENTRIES. The alteration of the Taranaki A. and P. Association's show from spring to riutumn dates bids fair to he a great success, record live'stock entries'haying been received for the annual show which opens dn Wednesday. The entries in the Ayrshire, Jersey, and Holsh'in sections are the largest yet entered for show competition. The fat stock section is expected to make one of the Quest' displays yet seen in Taranaki, iind spectators will see the primest stock from Masterton, Wangnnui, arid 'Taranaki. The horse section of the show, which is usually the main attraction to the public generally, is well tilled in every class, and especially so in the jumping competitions. The sl'ieep entries are double those of last year, there being a good collection of the main breeds suitable for the district. In the dog section competition /is very keen, the total number being 387. - Those who are interested in. the working' of good sheep dogs will have the opportunity of witnessing some 15 dogs being put through o. fairly severo test. Special. train arrangements have been made for both days of the show, and a record attendance is looked for.
