CHARGE OF CATTLESTEALING.
LOADED REVOLVER FOUND OH ACCUSED. (By Telegraph— PrsM Afsbclatiou.) Gore, February &i. William John Richards, with several aliases, was arrested at Gore on Sutuiday on a charge of stealing three cfiltlo at Edendalo on February 17, and stealing a bicycle at Waianawa on January .3. Accused was brought beforo Justices of tho'Peace, and remanded for eight days. When arrested accused denied cattle-steal-ing, but subsequently admitted it. When searched a five-chambered loaded revolver was found on accused, and a number of cartridges. It' is stated that ha purchased the revolved for the purpose of using it if molested while stealing cuttlo.
