[ The first municipal Church, parade hero was held this morning at the Anglican Cathedral, but was marred somewhat by rainy weather. It was attended by bo-'i tween fifty and sixty of those connected! with tho municipality m ' well as, by a 1 fairly largo number of the public, in ad>: dition to tho Mayor and a-number of; city councillors, and heads of Depart-' monts and employees. Tho Mayors of Sumner,' Riccarton, and Spreydon were also present. ■■.'..- : | Bishop Julius preached an interesting, sermon on the duties of citizenship and' extended a welcome to tho Mayors and; councillors.
