Mattingley, ,of ( -Kensington, bequea'thing to J)r'.-Frederick Bryan, an Australian, s 'and Miss Mattingley's-- -grand nephew;'also .C 7500 to 'Mrs.-.Starke, a passenger by the ill-fated steamer Waratah. , ..Miss Mattingley's solicitor gave evidence that his client had mado many "wills.She left Bryan i'DCOO in 1901. Then , the amount was variously altered, lintil Bryan ' was cut .out in 1908 with'i!2o.' ' '/Miss Mattingley's nur9e stated that the testatrix was-.quite sane on the day she signed the codicil.
