SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION.

Th« annual meeting of tie Sunday School Union was held in tho manager's room of St. John's Ch.uroh\ on Thursday evoning. Mr. E. A. Wright, president, was in tho chair. It was resolved to appoint Miss M'Gregor, of Masterton, as the official representative of tho union at the 'world's .Sunday School Convention at Zurich. It was decided to recommend tho parent union in . London to recognise the thirty-two years' service of a Sundiyschool worker in the Wairarapa by a lons-servico diploma. An application from tho Petono Baptist School for the London Union's usual grant of library books was endorsedT It was decided to hold tho scholars' examination on the June quarter's lessons. Final arrangements wero made for the gathering of teachers to bo held in Wellington at Easter. The treasurer's balance-sheet showed that, with tho assistance of special donations, from schools and retiring collections by some churches, the deficit had been 'wiped- off, and a small balance was in band.
