Present Indications aro for strong westerly Winds, veering to southerly, in and northward of Cook Strait, and southeasterlies elsowhere. Itain probable generally, but especially about Cook Strait and tho East Const of the. South Island, tlio barometer rising everywhere Boon. A cool change probable eoon. Gloomy and misty weather has prevailed with rain in most parts >of tho country, and thunderstorms have occurred i'n several places. Lowest barometric pressure is reported about Cook Strait. D. C.
