(By Telegraph.—Press Affloolatlon.)' Palmorston North, February 19. The country clubs' championship meeting was held here to-day in fino though oppressive weather, and tho sport was first-class. The M'Villv points shield was won by Wairarapa (38J points), Manawatu being, second (with 23J points), and Wanganui third (15 points). The championship ovents were won as follow;— 880 i!ards. D.
