HARBOUR BOARD ELECTIONS.
April 80—tho last Wednesday in the month—will be a fairly busy day for the electors of Wellington. Not only is the Mayor aud City Council to bo elected that day, but. the whole of the Harbour Board - (with the exception of the Government, appointee, Mr. W. T. Hildreth) are to be_ eleoted that day, At present the board is constituted is follows:— City (i)— Messrs. R. Fletcher.(chairman), .T. Fitzgerald, A. H. Hindmorsh, and J. Trevor; Wairarapa district (2)— Messrs. Darnells and M'Farlane; Manawatu (2)— Messrs. Cobbe and Cohen: Hutt and Wellington Suburbs 12)— Messrs.. J. W. M'Ewen and P. C. Frcoth; payers of dues on ships (2)Messis. C. W. Jones and R. Ronner; payers of dues other than on ships (l)-Mr. .T. G. Harkness; Government appointee—Mr. W. T. Hildreth (who holds office until April, 1914). Mr. J. G. Hark'ness is to hnvo a rival in Mr. A. D. Kennedy, md Captain D. J. Watson will be a candidate for one of the Hutt and Suburbs seats. ======
