MATERNITY BONUS FRAUD.
WOMAN FINED .£lO. By Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright (Rec, February 19, 9.45 p.m.) Melbourne, February 19. A married woman has been fined .£lO, and eight guineas costs, for 1 obtaining a maternity bonus by means of a false statement, forging the name of the nurse who had attended her previous confinement. This is the first case of the kind in Australia.
