LAND FOR SETTLERS.

"My lands disposal officer reports to mo," he remarked, "that in tho Auckland district, from which, ho ,has just returned, ' , there are 103 sections ready for immediate opening, the total area being 35,117 acres, Several blocks, containing 17,311 acres, ■ ■ divided into 91 sections, will bo advertise cd within "tho hext fortnight, nnd, before tho end of tho financial year, in tho Auckland district alono there will bo 52,448 acres, comprising. 254 sections, •ready for opening. The lands will be offered on op- , tipnablc tenure and renewable loaso. ;.
